I did ladder set 25 to 200 then 200 to 25metres about 1800 metres i think it totals up to..the pool was awash with not only HEADUP BREASTROKERS!!!! but also HEADUP FREESTYLERS...????WHAT????i was lucky to do the distance i did...i think these were the annual new years resolutioners that tend to fade away soon(thanks be to god most high)anyone else get a swim in???

    Swam a 3300m freestyle workout, made my arms nearly fall off. 400 warmup (600/1000) 4X100 8X25 (1800/2800) 2 X Some complicated deal with buildup on 75s and 125s with SC-1 Descend 500's (400/3200) 4X100 (100/3300) 100 warmdown

    I swam a very slow 45 minutes of drills and basics. But I'm just getting back in training after a few months off. Becoming reacquainted with my old friends the paddles is painful. :D

    I had a great day for a change 1x200 Free Warmup 6x200 (50 free 50 back 50 *** 50 kick) 30 seconds rest 5x150 (100 IM 50 kick) 30 seconds rest 10x50 (25 free 25 ***) 15 seconds rest 8x25 (2 Fly 2 Back 2 *** 2 Free) 15 seconds rest 100 easy warm down 10 minutes of talking no rest I really enjoyed this workout.     Swam 3500 yards Warm-up 100 free/50 back/50 *** 100 fly kick/100 *** kick 200 free pull with paddles breathng 9, 7, 5 3 per 25 100 free kick/100 back kick with fins 200 IM drill main: 4 * (4 * 100 IM order + 4 * 50) 50's were all the same, each set different in IM order My intervals are slow :) 2:15 for 100's, 1:15 for 50's, by last 100 fly, my arms were going to fall off cool-down - 100 dolphin kick with fins

    Didn't make the pool today. Here is yesterday. 400 free warmup 8x50 free moderately fast (not quite a full sprint) 400 free medium speed (active rest) 8x50 free moderately fast (not quite a sull sprint) 100 free 100 *** 100 free 100 *** 100 free pull 100 back pull 100 free pull 100 back pull 400 freestyle pull 400 free cool-down Total 3200 yards - Time 60 minutes I usually do kicking and drills during a workout and not usually so much freestyle. Just felt like it that day. Tomorrow I will do an IM workout and Friday a breaststroke workout. They will be less yardage in 60 minutes - about 2700.

    Oh boy I got to swim two days in a row!!! 1x200 Free Warm up 4x200 (50 free 50 back 50 *** 50 kick) 30 seconds rest 10x150 (100 IM followed by 50 kick) 30 seconds rest 10x50 ( 25 *** work the wave 25 free) 200 warm down Thought I was going to die about number seven in the IM set so I took an extra minute on number 6 or 7.
