Just started a FLOG, to keep track of my training for an open water event (Cascade Lakes Swim Series, Elk Lake Oregon July 30-Aug 1). I didn't realize how much I really do swim til I saw it accumulate on my fitness log. If you are like me and need to have these goals to motivate you, try starting your FLOG and watch the miles add up!
I totally agree! I found my Flog telling me I've swam 42 miles since I've started it in April, which blew my mind because I've never really quantified what I was swimming before or thought about what I was swimming before.
I agree. I just started mine in June and hit 50 miles yesterday. I've been swimming a lot more than I thought I was.
And you'll be getting a 50 mile cap in the mail soon!!!!!:applaud:

I finally got mine today, thank goodness. I am in desperate need of a new cap!!
Now I just need to add another zero in there with a black sharpie...:bolt:
It does add up. And it totally helps with my motivation, nice since I started doing mine due to my fitness committee responsibilities.
Hahaha MJ, gee I wonder how I found out about the FLOG! Maybe at the pool from you . . .

The FLOG is great. It is amazing to see the distance build up. One thing that is a little disconcerting is if you log cycling too and see how quickly you surpass your swimming.
Although I joined USMS in February, I had been keeping track of my yardage since the beginning of the year. So, I logged it into my FLOG when I first joined. I'm up to 184 miles for the year. :wiggle:
