Anyone planning to attend Nationals in Omaha? If it wasn't for the venue, I would swim at SCY Nationals. You got to admit, competing in the Olympic Trials pool merely a few hours after Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps made a splash is awesome!
Though I'm sure it violates some forum policing, we gotta start laying $$ out on these wagers.
:bolt:
Well, I do still owe you a :chug:, but would be happy to make it a juice, instead. :D Unfortunately, you won't be able to collect until next year, since I won't be going to Omaha.

I just gotta figure out a way to work these relatively random guesses into my sales pitches to my clients to help them with their sales forecasts!

If I can't fit it into the budget to go to Indy, I will definitely be in Mission Viejo! I grew up in Long Beach and lived most of my life in San Diego. I can't wait to see my friends and family! :bliss:
As for a three-peat, I don't doubt for a second that you will do it! :cheerleader:
The meet roster for summer nationals is posted at www.usms.org/.../roster.php. There are 1,257 swimmers entered in the meet. If you think you entered the meet, please check to verify that you are on the roster. Issues can be reported to Tracy Grilli by email at NationalsEntries -AT- usms -DOT- org.
The psych sheets will be posted once the sixth event decision has been made.
I am happy to announce the sixth event will NOT be dropped for this meet. Swimmers who entered six events will be able to swim all six. The psych sheets are available here:
www.usms.org/.../
Due to the size of the meet (the second largest Summer Nationals in the 40+ year history of USMS) we will be deck seeding all events 200 and greater. Furthermore, all of these deck seeded events will be seeded by time (instead of by age group). The 50s and 100s will be preseeded by age group and then time (men and women separate). The 200s and 400s will be seeded by time (men and women separate) while the two distance events (800 and 1500) will be seeded by time with men and women combined (just like Greensboro). While it may be unpopular to seed the 200s by time at Nationals, this scenario creates a shorter timeline than dropping the sixth event on three of the four days.
Please send scratches and/or entry errors to championship@usms.org by June 15.
Thanks,
Jeff Roddin
