2012 FINA World Masters Championship

Mary's dates are correct: I have their marketing material in hand with the date June 2-16.Is this posted online yet anywhere? Any idea when the pool events are in that time period?

Very strange, but the calendar doesn't even specify the dates - just the whole month of August 2012. Can anyone verify this for us?

outside of the FINA calendar it still says 2-16 june everywhere else. I had a link to the 2012 that I wrote down when in Göteborg, but can't seem to find it or anything like i online.

With an August date, I/we would be likely to go. With a June date, zero chance.:bitching:Me vice-versa. Either June or August, though, at least opens the timing possibility of hitting both Worlds and Nationals in Omaha ... budgetary and spouse-happiness conditions probably prevent an excellent two-fer, though.

Yeah, my feeling is the FINA calendar hasn't been updated. The info in Gothenburg definitely said the 2012 competition would be in June.

We've got three little ones in school until mid June...I've got the opposite problem ... Arizona schools start way early August, but tend to end by Memorial Day.

those dates can't be right. nobody gets a hotel room at riccione in august. all the italians are on vacation. a girl who swims with me is from there. i will ask her to verify.
