2012 FINA World Masters Championship

just sent a message to someone on the usms forum who swims with the team in riccione. strange nobody knows anything.....

so that everybody knows pool manager told me today he still has WMC scheduled for the first two weeks of june 2012 i'll keep you updated

It looks like the dates have been changed to August 2012 instead of June! Here's a link to the FINA calendar OK, FINA website has been updated. It now shows that the Championships will be June 3 - June 17, 2012.

I'm excited!! Couldn't make it to Sweden last summer, so hopefully my school schedule will work out for this! I'll make it work!!

Hi All - I have been selected as USMS' Head Coach for our FINA Masters Worlds 2012 Championships. There has been a lot of discussion and confusion on the dates of the swimming competition events, so I did some research. The following comes directly from FINA, via our rep Nancy Ridout. Please feel free to email me at f.marcinkowski@cubu-masters.org or call at 703-582-0429 anytime. I look forward to meeting many of you in person...in Riccione! Subject to the FINA Bureau approval in July, dates for Swimming are Sunday June 10th through Saturday June 16th with the OW being held on Sunday the 17th. Training days for Swimming will be Friday and Saturday, June 8th & 9th. Fri/Sat, 6/8-9 - Training days Sun 6/10 - 800 free Mon 6/11 - 200 bk, 100 fr, 100 br Tues 6/12 - 400 IM, 200 fr, 50 fl Wed 6/13 - 50 fr, 200 IM, 100 fl, 50 br Thurs 6/14 - Relay Day, all 200m relays Fri 6/15 - 200 br, 100 bk, 200 fl Sat 6/16 - 50 bk, 400 fr Sun 6/17 - OW 3K
