Looking ahead to 2012, they have posters here in Sweden about the next FINA Masters to be held in Riccione, Italy. I went there when they held it in 2004 and had a great time. The dates are June 2-16, 2012.
I assume the two big pools are 50M courses and that you'll be running two competition courses if the meet is large enough?
Pretty sure two 50 meter competition pools is a requirement for Worlds. The meet will be big enough. I believe the last time Worlds was in Riccione it was the highest attended Worlds ever.
This is how the new pool will look like. We will have a new 35x25 mt new pool with stands a new bar locker rooms and rest rooms for the outdoor pools.

Subject to the FINA Bureau approval in July, dates for Swimming are Sunday June 10th through Saturday June 16th with the OW being held on Sunday the 17th. Training days for Swimming will be Friday and Saturday, June 8th & 9th.

Sun 6/10 - 800 free
Mon 6/11 - 200 bk, 100 fr, 100 br
Tues 6/12 - 400 IM, 200 fr, 50 fl
Wed 6/13 - 50 fr, 200 IM, 100 fl, 50 br
Thurs 6/14 - Relay Day, all 200m relays
Fri 6/15 - 200 br, 100 bk, 200 fl
Sat 6/16 - 50 bk, 400 fr
Sun 6/17 - OW 3K

same as 2004: you can see the indoor pool in the background
with the 2nd outdoor pool all events will be held here including waterpolo and syncronized swimming
I think OW will take place in the Adriatic Sea
