About a year ago USMS Swimmer featured a workout where you swim all 18 competitive events in one session. Does anyone remember the recommended order of events? I remember you start with the 1000 free, do the 200 fly second, and end with the 1650 free, but I don't remember the rest.
A friend found the recommended order for me, for anyone who's interested:
1000 free
200 fly
50 free
200 free
400 IM
100 back
100 ***

200 back

With those as the bookends, I can't imagine that the order of what's in the middle really matters. ;)
Slowswim, just let me know when you're up for it. That workout requires a partner to commiserate with!!
I'll give it a shot when your ready. I just need to know when so I can take a week off work to finish, commiserate and recover!

Funny..I like your sense of humor :)
At St. Pat's meet this weekend my first 2 events were the 1000 Fr and the 200 Fly, back to back. That's as far as I am going on that list without some major rest!!

I might give it a go sometime, but as I swim alone, I'd need to commiserate online ;)
Before I can attempt this, I have to learn the Butterfly.
How long do you have to complete the workout? At what point is it no longer a single workout?
