Are you kidding me SS? What other purpose is there for posing in a nudey magazine? And don't call it modeling. Karen, I'm not saying I don't admire the female form, I do absolutely--I'm surprisingly normal. Do I only value women on their looks? Absolutely not. I find intelligent women very interesting--whether they're naked or not. A picture of a naked woman is not objectification on it's own--is a naked mother and child shot lewd if I see nipple? It's like the people that berate mothers for beastfeeding in public--no matter how discreet they try to be--how is breastfeeding disgusting? I don't think the restroom is an appropriate venue for anyone to eat lunch in. Anyhow I can't make you accept my morality or you make me accept yours. I can however say that I believe using negative euphemisms on a woman demeans all women (a la the Imus situation) and plays into the hands of those that truly repress women and wish to control them.

This is so redundant now. Amanda is on her way into design and promoting her self and her clothing line. If she swims in 08 ...all the more power to respect her for managing to do so much. I can't wait for the issue to come out. I'm going to buy it intentionally jus to support her, and her right to choose her own path. I see no difference between Playboy and a Rueben painting. I think it wil be good to see how a fit and active woman looks, not one who is on a strictly lettuce and bottled water diet.
