Swiminfo.com has released a post saying that Amanda Beard will be on the cover of the July issue for Playboy.
How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?

Yeah, cause a sure sign of a successful clothing designer is to drop trou in a nudey mag, that's the sign you've made it as a designer.
Too bad her advertising business model is to get naked. I suppose Speedo is behind her and has ads in this Playboy issue? If not, what does that tell you about her business model, not much to be sure.
If you want to support Amanda, go buy her clothes. If you want to support Playboy, buy the mag.

No Her clothes won't look great on me but heck if I wanted to wear a dress and turn up at nationals in it, it would not be for anyone here to make a judgement; at least one that counts for anything outside of their world.

My point is she's branching out into design, fashion and modelling, well modelling she has been doing.
