How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?

I am the only female commenting so far, but I don't understand either. She's not even voluputous; she's rather thinny now. Is Playboy not doing the women with curves anymore? Admittedly, a great swimmer, but can she twist herself into a pretzel or something?
There have already been some pretty racey pics of her in other magazines. Although she's on the thin side, she's pretty sexy. The timing seems a bit odd, right before an Olympic year. But maybe that's the point. I never read Playboy, :rofl: , so I can't comment on whether it still does curvy. Maybe playboy is caught up in the thin obsession like the rest of the nation.
Yes, most of the women in Playboy have fake boobs if that's the question :)
Amanda might not measure up in this area, but I think most men can appreciate the real deal!
I am sure most of us on here will buy the issue for the articles and interviews inside. The fact that Amanda will be in the issue will only be a considence.:rofl: :banana: :D :groovy:

I would bet that she is more than just on the cover. I believe the article states she will POSE for Playboy and grace the cover.
I believe I may have mentioned it on another thread related to SI Swimsuit Issue, but I have always found my favorite pics in the SISI to be those of real athletes. They're real and they're in shape for athletics, not for modeling.
