Swiminfo.com has released a post saying that Amanda Beard will be on the cover of the July issue for Playboy.
How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?

This is so redundant now. Amanda is on her way into design and promoting her self and her clothing line. If she swims in 08 ...all the more power to respect her for managing to do so much.
I can't wait for the issue to come out. I'm going to buy it intentionally jus to support her, and her right to choose her own path.
I see no difference between Playboy and a Rueben painting.
I think it wil be good to see how a fit and active woman looks, not one who is on a strictly lettuce and bottled water diet.
