  • Nice swimming, Ande! I hope you've impressed several of those spring chickens! :dedhorse:
  • Ande, Looks like you swam your race today. Just about right on your goal splits. And a better time than last year. Way to go!:applaud: :applaud: :applaud: 23.70 48.99 (25.29) thanks I hope to have a good swim I think I've been racing the kids instead of swimming my race the way I know I need to swim it to do the best time Like tomorrow, on the 1st 50 of my 100 fr I need to be relaxed and hold back a little go out around 23.4 - 23.7 then on the 2nd 50 turn it on hammer it home and attempt to do the 2nd 50 under 25.0 ande

  • I predict Peirsol is on the 800 free relay in prelims ... seems he is gearing up for that ...

Much can be attributed to the new suits but there is something else going on....the old days of training hard for 4 months, swimming like crap the whole time, tapering and having big drops is gone....on the flip side these guys rarely drop much when they do finally fully taper......interesting.

Ande: I'm new here, but I have been lurking and reading your blog. I really enjoy it. It sounds like you had a great meet, even though you didn't feel your best. Great job! :) I hope Crocker does well at Worlds. That was an amazing unshaved, unrested time.

In fact its so smokin fast that he was only .06 from the American Record of :41.62 by Anthony Erving. In fact he was the exact .06 off the other American Record that Erving shares with Tom Jager in the 50 Free of :19.05 that he did earlier in the meet leading off the relay. From this it will be very interesting on who gets selected for the 400 Free Relay at Worlds and will the Relay be any different than the one that was selected and swam at the Pan Pacs this past summer and set the World Record.
  • Sorry for my ignorance, what is SDK? :dunno: Thanx, Hey Fort. Do you want to take this one? Or should I?
