Ah yes, I should also add good luck wishes--hope he has a successful meet and no lawn mowing duty! :cheerleader:Anti-rant interlude…
Noah gets out of mowing duties:party2:
He made trial cuts in the 100 fly by going 55.5 in prelims this morning. His 200 free was a bit off (1:54.7) so maybe I’ll just have him do the trimming and edging.

CONGRATULATIONS! :cheerleader: You must be one proud papa! My daughter was there tonight to watch her best friend, Meg D'Urso, swim the 100 ***. She probably saw Noah's race! GOOD LUCK in the 100 free! Keep us posted!:woot:

Fabulous! Definitely no lawn mowing! :applaud: I think making trial cuts is one of those things he's supposed to savor for life!
Yea, I couldn't believe the FSII actually fit Brenna....
:bolt:
you know I'm kidding!
If she does swim she gets to go to Target. She wants a skirt, a shirt, and a pair of shoes!!! She's 4, right? My hubby already says for her 18th b-day she's getting a special trip---- to the CONVENT!

Holy Crap! Congratulations, that's HUGE! How exciting! Very well done!
Tried that - they wouldn't budge. Gave them the required 30 days' notice anyway. That will teach me not to sign up for contracts with exorbitant cancellation fees.
Another night of swimming in near-boiling water. There are only three lines for lap swimming in the pool now, two if the swim school lessons are on, one if aqua aerobics classes are on. The noodlers are taking over :).
Pools linked to gyms or health clubs are notoriously hot. They cater to swim lessons and noodlers. Try a membership at a rec center or some facility where a USA-S team trains. Those pools are usually more like 80 degrees. I hate a hot pool too. Can't swim in them at all. :drown:
... I fear I'll have a heat stroke if I swim too much.Mia,
Go for the heat stroke. First off you’ll make $$$$ in the settlement with the gym for providing a known dangerous environment, second the repercussions around the overheated pool world may get pool managers to lower the temperature a couple degrees or third it will cause the gyms to ban lap swimming and we will have more to rant about. A win-win-win.
Mia,it probably won't work, but I'd tell them that I joined the gym to swim and since they are not providing a SWIMMING pool they owe me my money back.

Rob,
So... You're going to be planning a trip to your old stomping grounds (Omaha)! :drink: Cool. Jim and I have tickets for the 3rd through the 6th, so we'll be there for the 100 Fly. Rumor has it that there will be some Masters workouts for those of us attending (watching) Trials.
