I have to be out of the pool for a couple of weeks and I wonder what other folks do when they're forced to lay off swimming for a while. And I'm not talking about sitting in front of the tv LOL, but of alternative exercise that will help once you get back in.:D
Bill, I had some skin surgery a week ago Wed. and one of the sites has a slight infection. I can lift weights, but no water anything. I would be happy to get into the pool in any form, even water walk with a noodle :eek:or do water aerobics :eeew:, but I can't get in the pool until the areas are cleared up.
That just bites the big one.
What's everyone's experience as far as how long it takes to get back to where you were prior to the break? e.g. upon returning, 2 days of swimming for every day missed... Personally that's usually what I find, if I take a week off it takes about two weeks to feel like I'm back to where I was.

mine came yesterday. yours should be along soon as I am usually one of the last of my friends to have the magazine delivered.
I haven't read it yet, but I did flip through, I think it's going to be a good read :applaud:
Mine hasn't arrived, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Monday.
Antibiotics and another whole week out of the pool. Pffffffft.:bitching::frustrated::shakeshead:
