Natalie COUGHLIN broke the 100 SCY FREE AMERICAN RECORD on
Sun 12/4/2011 at the Georgia Fall Invitational
46.84 broke her own record from 2007 by 1/100th

Kate Ledecky, 14 of Curl-Burke, broke 2 13-14 NAG yards records at the
5th Annual National Age Group Team Challenge held at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center Nov 12-13.
She broke a 33-year-old record in the 500 freestyle 4:35.14 held by Sippy Woodhead from 1978 4:39.94
Then she went 9:29.81 in the 1,000 free breaking Michelle Richardson's 9:33.39, from 1984
Katie has OT cuts in the 100, 200, 400 and 800 free & will definitely be one to watch at trials.

At a couple meets in January Karlyn Pipes has broken 6 world records in the 55-59 age group. Including breaking Leslie Livingston's 100 back record and 2 records belonging to Laura Val:

Very fast, I only swim a 1:11 100 meter freestyle and a 1:15 100 meter fly as a 18 year old. As an adult I can't even do those times in yards. I think K Pipes like Laura Val started in her 30's in masters which makes it easier to have your youthful speed.

He was 1:06 at the 150 turn.
Amazing swim. He was out under 21 seconds and still managed to only drop off by 2.5 seconds on his second 100. The 200 individual race should be great!

17.81 for Caeleb Dressel to be the first man under 18 seconds in the 50 yard free with his split from the 200 Free Relay. He has the individual event later tonight.

He just swam a 17.63 and won the 50 yard free individual event by over a second over the field. I think we have never seen this margin of victory by over a second. Ryan Held was 2nd with 18.64 from NC State.
