Anyone planning to attend Nationals in Omaha? If it wasn't for the venue, I would swim at SCY Nationals. You got to admit, competing in the Olympic Trials pool merely a few hours after Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps made a splash is awesome!

And as a matter of fact, the reason that meet is called "Trials" is because USA-S is trying out the pool to make sure it will be ok for us! :banana:

Sure you will. If both of you make semi's there is a 50/50 chance you'll be in the same heat. And if both of you make finals, there is a 100% chance you'll be in the same heat!:bouncing:
Hey, Jeff, I'm soooooo happy the 200s will be seeded by time and not age. Finally, I'll get to swim an event at nationals against the fastest people in the meet, many of which are not just my age group. My only 200 of the meet is the 200 IM (top seed??!!?), but I'm excited to step up and race people from all age groups.
Now, what will it take to convince you to seed the 100 *** by time?

We've arranged for a practice meet to be held in the pool just prior to USMS Summer Nationals. On Monday, June 25, there will be a 100 *** seeded by time. The good news is you are entered in that event, so you will indeed be able to race swimmers regardless of age in the 100 ***. :)

I think this is actually a good thing since we have to exit out the sides of the pool. Comments section indicates that it wasn't a problem at Swimvitational.
Interestingly, in both the USA Swimming and USMS rule books, outside lanes lines are not required for national championship meets. They're only recommended.
