I usually print out workouts for the week and put the paper in a clear plastic office sheet holder (3 hole punch style). The paper inevitably gets wet anyway.
What do you do? Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my printouts dry?
Thanks
If you have workouts you reuse, you can laser-print them up on waterproof paper, which you can get at Amazon and probably Staples or Office Depot (search for weatherproof paper also). I made up a complete workout book on this paper and bring it to the pool with me. People look at me strange with my book half-submerged in the water, but it works. And you can write on it if needed with pencil.
If you're looking for one-time use, then just wet the paper & stick it to the kickboard or side of the pool, then toss it.
This "total immersion" approach is intriguing, as is Chaos's stonecutting approach. Or you could just not get them wet.
Or use pencil.
Now that I can no longer read without my glasses I copy my workouts by hand with a sharpie marker onto either paper or a giant index card. I use the "wet and stick method" to paste it onto a kickboard so I can read it easily. The paper can't be used again, but the index cards are reusable many many times.
I don't like doing workouts over and over again, so reusability isn't much of a concern for me.
