I am putting all of the Masters workouts I have written (from the last 16 years) online in a searchable database for free use. I have saved every workout I have ever written and have about 500 or so in the database so far. You can go to
www.swimwestside.com/.../wsscworkoutssearch.html
if you want to use it. Comments/feedback are welcome. I am not going to charge a fee like some of those other sites and want this to be a free resource for the Masters community. Once I have the first thousand or so in, I am going to try and develop some sort of online ranking system but for now they are just searchable.
Cheers,
Coach Nate

Thank you Nate.

so can medium-low -
my advice is don't focus on the yardage because you can always modify down if its too much. whenever i gave a workout i would make a note afterwards as to how it went and what the overall intensity was like for the team or the lanes that did the work. so the definitions of intensity are relative but somewhat accurate in most cases.
i will say that the highs are definitely...high.
Wow! What a great website :) There are definitely plenty of workouts in there!
I'd have to change the intervals though. I could never make those! :drown:
Maybe one day...
Nate - has done a good job. We can change anything we want in any workout that anyone designs. I think almost everything can be changed depending on your abilities.
Hey, thanks for sharing your knowledge with the swim community. We try to do the same thing, we post all of our workouts too at Dynoswim - www.dynoswim.com
That's pretty sweet stuff Dean. It has been a lot of work getting my workouts up (I am at 717 workouts as of yesterday) but the feedback has been incredible. No automated way to do it unfortunately, just have to type in every workout from my books one at a time but its been a great trip down memory lane for me.
We should find some automated way to suck down all of my workouts into Dynoswim.
Hey Nate,
We can do that if you like (automatically upload your workouts).
Additionally, how would you feel about doing a "Coaches Corner" blog, where you can share your insights, feature workouts, or ponificate on anything you think is of interest to the swimming community.
If you're interested , let me know. Just Send me a message through the "contact us" link at Dynoswim.
