After taking a year off after my college season was over I wanted to get back into the water. Here's what I have been doing from January 2006 - September 2006. I swim three times a week and focus on shorter distances 100/200's, Fr, Bk, and IM. Most practices allow you to push yourself very hard, while there are a few that is just an easy 3000 yards. Check it out for some ideas.
B.C. means breath control. For example, if it is a 200 B.C. 3, 5, 7, 3 by 50, you would breath every 3 strokes on the first 50 yes, 5 on the next, 7 on the next and 3 on the last 50. Hope this helps.
Hey, i hate to seem ignorant, but can you tell me what "B.C." means? i love the way your workouts look and want to get started ASAP, but i'm not familiar with some of the acronyms:P
Wow, thank you so much for sharing these! I moved last year and the Masters team I swim with here is waaaaaaay faster than me, so doing their workouts has been a bit demotivating. These look like workouts and distances I can handle, getting a good workout in and not having to do the same old distance ladder every time I'm in the pool. Thanks!!!
