What is everyone's favorite piece of dryland equipment that they use? I believe that you can do so much with just using your own bodyweight but if we are talking about equipment I would say that the medicine ball is one of my favorites.
Here is one of my favorite circuits:
Perform 3 times
10 Overhead Med Ball Slams
10 Jumps Squats and Toss
10 Med Ball Push - ups
10 Reverse Scoop Tosses
10 Rotations per side
Please share what your favorite piece of equipment is and what you like to do with them.
Thanks!
My simple weights right now. But I love combining the weights with my exercise ball. I want to get a med ball but I do my dry land in the basement and I can't see me doing these exercises with the ceiling that low. Hm... Maybe I could do them in the garage if I move the car. We do them at swim team and I love the med ball and weighted bar, too.
My body weight and stretch cords -- travel light, but can still get in a solid workout.
My bed's a pretty close second, but it's kind of hard to fit into the overhead compartment.
My bed. I find that using it once a day for a long uninterrupted stretch can make or break my in water training.
:applaud: :applaud: :applaud:
You are SO right! If/when I DO get uninterrupted sleep, it makes ALL the difference in the pool the next day- and the next.
Please share what your favorite piece of equipment is and what you like to do with them.
Well hes 6ft tall, a little overweight and I prefer to be on top..........:bolt:
Sorry....someone had to:blush:
Lol - that was an unexpected turn :).
I love the bands (tubing) as well. THey allow you to perform fast movements without having the weight stack flying like you see with cables.
Here is a a great protocol we use for increasing power and endurance in the back. I have attached below.
