I'm 5'10" around 175. went with the 26 kneeskin which fit well. The 26 full body was REALLY tight. Really difficult to get on and then hard to bend over for a start. Thought I might blow out the back end. YMMV.

you should be fine with a 26
B70's are very tight when you first put them on

Chest: 40", waist: 34". B70 doesn't have any reference to these measurements for fitting, iirc.
What are your waist and chest sizes. Does the suit depend on these or on hight and weight.
Actually, in my discussions with Dean from B70 he believes the issues I had with my swimskin were caused by wearing a suit that was too big. I bought it the last day of LCM nationals and the rep said it was the right size. (Conviently, when I asked about a smaller size she was out of stock.)
Dean replaced my suit, which got runs in the rear after only 1500 meters of swimming. In the process, he felt I may need to go down two sizes. I went down one size after insisting that I'm not quite as lean as your average elite swimmer. Haven't tried the new one out yet--saving it for zones.
Their customer services is fabulous, so if you're really not sure what size you need, CALL THEM! They're good about describing the proper fit, how to make sure you're putting on correctly and how high to pull the legs. They do give more when wet, so be careful about up sizing.
Interesting ... It's hard to see how a suit being too big would cause runs on the back side though ... Why did Dean say this could happen?
The customer service is fabulous. The only problem I see is with the warranty. It's highly unlikely anyone gets 25 swims in in 90 days. In fact, I've now had the suit I got for xmas for 30 days and haven't worn it once.
Why yes:
1. More compression/girdle-like effect through the torso. The legs are great, I think you just solved how to avoid failing the "take your marks" test, and the only other thing for me is the water-down-the-suit issue.
My B70 had less compression through the torso than my FS PRo (hi neck) and even LZR (racerback). Perhaps offer long sizes? Maybe this could be solved by wearing a 24L instead of a 26.
2. Racerback body style, priced around $295.95.
Seems as if every B70 blow out/rip you hear about is in the butt/upper thigh area. On the sizing chart, they have a chest/waist measurement, but no hip measurement. Why? Does anyone think you can go up a size with no ill effect in the water?

Hi all,
Sorry for not chipping in a little earlier. The issue with blowouts on the "Butt" & "Thigh" area is down to fitting and really getting the suit high in the crotch area, and also when the suit has been raced in dry. Typically the suit performs and shapes best when wet.
Ideally: Put the suit on, and work the thighs and chest through at least twice. Drop in the pool, get out, and repeat the working up the legs and chest. It is paramount the thighs are fitted high in the crotch.
Being a progressive company we have taken the issues seen re the ripped suits and we are examining patterns and sizing grading in order to investigate any changes for the better.
While i am on-line, is there anything you all as swimmers would like to see in future suit developments? Don't be shy, anything that gets the wheels of innovation and imagination moving (Within the rules of course)
Thanks all
Deano
