Hi I am new back to swimming. I was wondering if anyone could possibly give an easy workout to remember along with times. My form is pretty good I was an excellent swimmer growing up. I need to work on my endurance. How often should I be working out? (Swimming) I am also trying to lose some weight. I need to lose 10 pounds that I still haven't lost since having my baby 14 months ago. I think it's about time. Huh? Any Suggestions???? Please help. Thanks- Julia:agree:

One of the easiest workouts to remember... 50 x 50 on :50 (2500 yards). Or another fun set is swim a 50 (moderate to hard) and that becomes your base pace. 50 i.e. 45sec 100 - 1:30 200 - 3:00 400 - 6:00 800 - 12:00 (Then go back down the ladder depending on yards you want to hit.)

Thanks those are great workouts. My problem is when I am by myself it is really hard to push myself. I am part of a Master's workout but it is with two other ladies who are not exactly up to speed with me. I would like to do it with a coach more than just one day a week but I can't afford to. I just paid $200 for seven weeks. Part of it was a program membership fee but still I don't have the fund flow. How does everyone else stay motivated? Another thing is like I said before I am trying to lose weight but can't lay off the sweeets. Ahhhh I need help! I need to have some self-control, willingness.
