What are your 2009 Swimming New Years Resolutions?
mine are:
+ deeper push offs
+ better streamlines
+ SDKs off every wall, expecially when I'm tired
What are yours?

Do several races in the 5-10 mile range.
Make more time to stretch.
Make more time for weight work.
Ande - Nice. Love the "purity" of the lyrics and the sound. You also have a real flair for getting drop-dead beautiful (and talented) women to do your songs.

I'm sure I will have more, but here are a few:
-continue swimming 5-6 times a week
-incorporate dryland training (weights, yoga, running, core work) 2-3 times a week
-Go 0:29 or under in my 50 free
-Go 1:05 or under in my 100 free
-Attend 2 SCY meets
Since I do most of my training on my own, my resolution is to ensure that all of my sessions are purposeful - no more turning up at the pool and then figuring out what to do.
Mine are -
1. No injuries
2. Get enough rest
3. Listen to my Coach - streamline off walls, high elbow
4. Improve dolphin kick off walls - without fins
5. Top 3 placing at LCM Nationals
6. Five top 10 rankings by end of year
Here's to a great 2009!
My only swimming goal in 2009 is to have fun in my first year in the new age group.
I lied. I also want to remove Ron Karnaugh from as many records as possible.
Better hurry- Josh Davis is doing this for you.:bolt:
My primary resolution is to improve my streamline by cutting out the KFC trips, the office candy, and the extra beers. The rest will take care of itself.
I resolve to do the following in no certain order:
Track my workouts in more detail than just distance and date.
Swim 300 miles this year (up from 250 in 2008).
Swim the 200 fly (SCY).
Swim the 100 back (SCY) without looking like a drowning rat while doing it!
Swim the 400 IM (SCY).
My only swimming goal in 2009 is to have fun in my first year in the new age group.
I lied. I also want to remove Ron Karnaugh from as many records as possible.
I want to hear the story behind this gridge! Was he your coach when you were younger? Forced you to do the 200 fly with two pull buoys between your legs? Am I even remotely on the right track?
