After watching Sam Perry "cruising" through 3 rounds of 1 x 400 pull (on 6:00) followed by 6 x 100's swim (1:30, 1:25 then 1:20)...and swimming backstroke on the 100's holding 1:10's (yards) I had had enough and barked at him to get his butt in gear and NOT fear lactic acid! :notworking:
1:05 on #6 :groovy:
I rest my case! :mooning:
We know who you all are.....and you know we know who you are...I hereby challenge all your lane mates to not only call you out in practice but "brand" them publicly on this forum! :groovy:
How can it be anonymous when Mr. Smith throws me under the bus like that. Truth be told I could've held 1:03s. Thought I'd breathe hard after #6 so he'd think I was working harder. One more truth, Mr. Smith is getting a life size poster of me swimming to hang over his bed per Mrs. Smith's request.
I cannot say whether Sam is a slacker but if Paul's words are true, then I feel partially responsible for his slacker ways. You see, I have never given Sam a decent race and he has stopped coming to meets as he has difficulty staying awake secondary to his boredom. Sam, please return as I miss my at least biannual thrashings in all the backstroke events (although Jeff C has been filling in nicely for you in your absence).

Only if your wearing your grandmothers bloomers like you swam in yesterday!
And as for that "I could have held" crap....just keep saying that to yourself next year in Austin when you seize up the last 5 meters in your 100 back....and rest assured I'll be leaning over your lane reminding you of this conversation!

Yup...LOL
So fr the 2nd time in 3 days I call out Sam AGAIN!
Cruise thru about 3000 yards of workout
4 x 50's best average on 2:00 and he's 26 high on the first and 27's the rest (all back)...with a torn rotator cuff to boot.
He didn't even use his roll start...all push off's!
Slacker! From now on show up at 6:45am and swim the last 15 minutes and you'll be fine.
But you forgot my "Jeff Commings" turnover in my 25 free! All hat no cattle.
