Any comments on the latest USMS Swimmer magazine and Nadine Day's pullouts?
I for one thought the entire 5 pages were excellent, all the tips great.
The photos are very clear, and Nadine has great form.
Well done!!

I live in Michigan and still haven’t received my issue. Typically all my issues are late compared to others around the country. Why is there such a disparency in when we get them? As a breaststroker I'd really like to view this article and see first-hand what the discussion is all about.
Finally got my issue yesterday and went straight to the pullout article. What are these
"anchor points" the author referred to? Are they fixed points in the pool, fixed points on
your body or something altogether different? I didn't see much text other than the captions
accompanying the photos.
Thx,

I agree it can be a confusing statement. The anchor points are the point where you transition from catch to pull. At that point you have anchoered your hands and are pulling your body past them. That nomenclature is used to emphasize that we are pulling our bodies through the water as opposed to pulling our hands through the water. As seen from the side, the hands should not move back(much.)
