I printed out one of the workouts on the forum. Most everything I understand, but I didn't understand this one. I modified the workout a little to what I can do.
1x50 pull descend 1-5, easy #6, desecnd 7-11 :10 rest
I found that Descend means- get fast across several repeats
I still don't get it can someone explain?
descend means get faster
ie
swim the first one in 38
then get faster on each one
go 36, 34, 32, 30
it's open to interpretation
some swimmers might go
35, 34, 33, 32, 27
get the concept?

looks like a misprint. It should be 11 x 50 not 1 x 50

To descend a set means to swim each part of the set faster than the previous part. An example is 5x100 descend. This means that the first 100 should be the slowest, the second should be faster than the first, up to the last one which should be the fastest.

oh okay, that is what I thought, but need to verify.
Thanks for the help!
