Okay, so we all like each other. Well, mostly. S-o-o-o, it does stand to reason that each and every one of has an outstanding DVD to recommend for me ( & the rest of the forums gang) to rent for viewing over the holidays:
Two categories:
1.) Seasonal DVD that we must watch
2.) Non-seasonal any genre DVD that will make our holiday viewing.

I also enjoyed watching the BMW films with Clive Owen. Anybody else see those? They were shorts but pretty entertaining...especially if you like the cars being used.
I didn't see those. But Clive Owen was really good in Croupier and Inside Man.
All the old Bond's are good. But I'm still twitterpatted with the new one...and only partially because of Daniel Craig. ;)
Not sure if it's true, but I heard Bond's car had to be an automatic in Casino Royale because Craig couldn't drive a stick! What a pansy :)

Seriously, it's not that hard to learn ... I drove my car home from dealership with limited experience driving stick ... Yes, I am a chic that drives stick, and
darn proud of it!

Me too!! Another way we are alike. Now, to cement our friendship, you must also agree that, in addition to George, Clive Owen and Daniel Craig are hot. If Daniel Craig is British and can't drive a stick, I'm seriously disillusioned though...
I just Googled it and the real story is he told them he couldn't drive a manual, so they had to suspend filming until he was trained. The car used in the movie (Aston Martin DB5) did have a manual transmission.
Oh lordy...I can imagine that poor transmission's terrifying final moments...

NB Ya might also want to change "Yes, I am a chic that drives stick, and darn proud of it!" to something less tempting like "Yes, I am a chic that drives manual transmission, and darn proud of it!"

Yes to Owen ... Daniel Craig is oddly attractive ... there is something hot about him for sure, agreed on the whole not being able to drive stick thing ...

It's good that you managed it. It makes you a better driver IMHO, you feel what's going on more with your car. Don't get me wrong; auto's are nice too, but there's more feedback with manual.
