That's incorrect. BALCO sold performancing enhancing (and banned) drugs like anabolic steroids and growth hormone. Some, like "the clear," were undetectable but still on the banned list. Interestingly, back in the 80s he sold (legal) nutritional supplements to athletes. Check out the following:

Thank you for providing the link. I didn't know Victor Conte was the bass player in Tower of Power. I used to listen to that record over 30 years ago "Going Back to Oakland". I remember the popular song "What is Hip" in fact I think I saw these guys as the warm up act for Santana in 1973. Wow, has he fell from grace.
There were many names on the list of clients from Conte going back years. I believe I heard that even Matt Biondi's name was on it. Has there ever been information released regarding what types of supplements were sold to each individual?

Did anyone say she was?
If they suspended all the swimmers, all the track athletes and baseball players who used steroids there would be very few swimmers, baseball players or track people competing. There would not be an NFL at all. No weight lifters either.

Then again Balco products were not on the banned lists so who knows?
