I would like to know what type of music you all listen to before your workouts? I know there has been a discussion on here about what music you listen to in your head, but I would like to know what you listen to before your workout? Classical, country, rap, head banging, pop, hip-hop/rap, jazz etc.? Can anyone suggest any good music?

Metal, all metal. I keep in my car Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry album. Still pumps me up. Though that's not the only CD I listen to before working out.
Talk radio. I love to keep up with local and national politics. I find the long sets and distance work give me ample time to figure out the worlds problems. Unfortunately, I forget about the details on my home.:D
Classical guitar or piano to calm me down. As I'm pretty ticked off waking up so early after the little kids keep me awake throughout the night asking for water, help with the light, bathroom, bad dreams......so cute though.

I have to agree with Ed the Head, Metal, Metal and more Metal. I swim at 5:30 AM and need a good wake up call of Metalica, Judas Priest, GodSmack or Disturbed. Gets the blood moving.
