Heather...the next time you swim in a meet...understand that any red blooded USMS Swimmer will do everything they can to assist you in swimming great times in your meet....ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SIMPLY ASK....!
;)
I knew someone in college swimming that swam faster with a pre-race "warm up". The change was so marked that the coach actually was quietly trying to figure out how to make sure the warmup happened before big meets.
I think I'd just want to sleep... : |
Ok.....I've read about sprinters vs. distance
Equipment
Technique
But no serious discussion yet on the value of "training", remember practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect!
More importantly however is the relevance of TI to this whole discussion and early/late bloomer/max VO2 effects?!

I have very little experiance with this subject. We had six children before we found out what caused IT. After we found out what caused it we had our television set repaired and since that we have had no more kids.
