Do you wash your swimsuit? I'm talking about putting it in the regular laundry with your other dirty clothes. I don't think I've ever "washed" any of my suits. I feel like it's clean enough coming out of the pool, and then showered in. A couple of years ago I became the sole launderer for my family. We have an in-ground pool and in the summers my work-at-home wife likes to lounge by the pool. But she's a 'bather' and not a fitness swimmer like us. Yet she puts her suits in the laundry. I think it's weird, but it's not a fight I'm going to take on. Just wondering if others wash their swimsuits.

I love the smell of chlorine in my suit. It doesn't matter what I use, even those special cleaners that are supposed to remove chlorine, they still smell like the pool.
Me too! I even love the smell of chlorine on my skin. :)
after a swim, i typically lather up with suit on; this way, the shampoo/soap is helping clean up the sweat. we have suit spinners, so a post-shower rinse and spin wraps up the process.
the only suits i throw in the washing machine are my jammers; i wear them under my hockey jock while playing hockey, so they get good and sweaty. i try to clean the crap out of all my hockey gear. those suits never see a swim workout.
How about the swim bag? I just soaked mine cuz it smells like old , wet clothes!
lol
my wife made me buy a new truck because the inside smelled like my swim bag, which was just like you described

I always rinse my training suits, tech suits, goggles, and cap in cold sink water after I swim and hang the suits dry. My training suits last longer than anyone elses, tech suits still stretch after a couple meets.
After washing in cold water sqeeze suits to help dry in a towel then hang to dry.

I hand wash in the locker room shower after every swim (soak, wring, repeat).

I do, after like a week. I rinse it with clean water almost everyday though.
