Just thought I would start a thread which didn't have deep philosophical overtones so that we all can have fun with the new forum software. Based upon personal experience, I will start a list of “You know you are a swimmer when …” with the following:
You know you are a swimmer when you leave work in the rain and you can smell the chlorine coming off of your hair.
Anyone care to add to the list?

you know you're a swimmer when... you realize all of your friends are your team mates and you've never seen them with clothes on.:D

Pardon? I remember in high school, where my jet-black hair became bleached, with the tips having a greenish tinge.
You also know you're a swimmer/coach when your kids think people wearing goggles look normal (and recognize babysitters by their strokes), and your 3 year old wears a swim cap to Bertucci's (restaurant) and other places and thinks it's quite acceptable dinner attire!
. . . you forget what a q-tip is for since you never have to use them.
. . . as a teenager you looked at men in swim trunks and wondered what was wrong with them.
. . . you have family pictures in which your brother has a checkerboard mohawk and you can't understand why people don't get it.
. . . you (later in life) have no idea what size swim suit to purchase for casual wear because they don't come in 34's.
. . . you go to Florida and don't see anything except the pool and your bed.
. . . your friends tell you they swim and once you see them in the water you just have to tell them they can't.
. . . you leave teaching to work in parks and rec. just so that you can be around pools again (that's what I did!)
Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
