Swim APPs

I have a stopwatch program for my Android (I think it is available for iPhone too) that does splits and will email or text results. It is UltraChron and is available in the Android Market.Just loaded to my phone. Like it so far, thank you for mentioning it.

I was a little disappointed in USA Swimming's DeckPass Plus. The site and iTunes store where very vague about its abilities and features. I dont enter alot of meets but wanted something to track my progress as I get back into swimming. To do this in DeckPass, I have to create a fake "meet" every time I want to enter a new time for myself. Of course, I may have overlooked some other way to do this.

Hey Ande. I posted here about a great Android app called MySwimmingTimes that tracks your times as well as motivational time standards. The developer was very responsive to updating info that I provided specific to USMS. Feel free to check it out.

Just loaded to my phone. Like it so far, thank you for mentioning it. I like it, especially for my daughter's meets.

Swimradar is a good app to find places to swim close to you when traveling. It uses your location to list from closest out the location and size of the pool and a link to the facilities website.

Along with Coach's Eye, I have a similar program on the iPhone, CoachMyVideo. Other Swim Apps I use are: AnyCourse, a souped up stop watch that also handles distance per cycle, cycle rate, etc. Timing Apps: StopWatch, Stop Watch (different Apps), iTime SwimConvert - yards to meters (LCM & SCM) Live Results Live Splits Meet Mobile Go Swim Swim Log On the iPad I also have Clipboard & Swim Plus Coach HD (ability to compare two clips at once, split screen)

I just created a swimming conversion app for iPhone. Right now it can convert between scy scm and lcm. It also stores a bunch of popular time standards. (olympic trials... world records... etc).
