  • Kurt, thanks for acknowledging the rightful national champions who sadly took 2nd place in all those events due to USMS refusal to respect and protect womens sports.

  • I whole heartedly agree.

  • Could not agree more !!!

  • Did the House of Delegates ever get to discuss or vote on this issue?

  • Thank you Kurt. I appreciate you posting this.  It is sad to train so hard and travel far to get this outcome but hopefully the rules can be updated to something fair for all.

  • Excellent and well strategized post, Kurt! It can't be taken down for any TOS or other community standards violation. THIS MUST BE SAID! And many DO care and are embarrassed, angry, demoralized, the adjectives are endless. Way to go USMS. You've learned nothing about the majority of public sentiment when it comes to sports fairness and "equity"

  • Dear U.S. Masters Swimming Eligibility Committee,

I am writing to formally protest the eligibility of Athlete’s Full Name, who competed as a female in the Event Name(s), e.g., 100-yard freestyle on Date(s) during the Name of Competition or Season. I am a registered USMS member (Your Name, USMS ID: Your ID Number) and participated in the same gender category, age group, and event.

It is my understanding that USMS requires trans female athletes (male-to-female) to have completed at least one year of continuous hormone therapy and to maintain serum testosterone levels below 5 nmol/L for the preceding twelve months, with appropriate documentation.

I respectfully request that USMS review Athlete’s Name’s eligibility to ensure compliance with these requirements. Please let me know if any additional information is needed from my end.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,

    Your Name

USMS ID: Your USMS Registration Number
