Need help

I am a triathlete trying to improve my swimming for one mile open water swim. I spent 3 month with a masters swim team learning to do the freestyle stoke correctly. Now I am attempting to swim on my own because I can no longer attend the swim team. (schedule conflict) I need to figure out my own workouts. I look at the workouts and don't know what they mean. Is there a link that explains the drills or the abbreviations? Or any information that would help someone training for an olympic distance triathlon. Thanks!!!
