So I'm having this problem with the lower half of my body on butterfly. I can't get my butt to rise out of the water after a stroke, I feel as if I'm dragging my legs through the water. any suggestions?
Another thing to try is to make sure you are pressing your chest down before you start your pull. Pressing the chest down should get your hips up - think of your body as being like a teeter-totter, so when your chest goes down, your hips go up.
