Swimming again in a meet after 10 years

Hey guys and gals, former collegiate swimmer. Got back into the water about three months ago, have been doing about 2500-3500 a workout every other day or at least twice a week. I have a long course meet this weekend and am about to go to the pool in about an hour to loosen up before we drive to the meet tomorrow. I am trying to put up some decent times obviously and am even thinking of shaving the ole chest and arms to see if it gives me some mental speed. What workouts can you guys recommend to a guy like me with little base, aside from the millions of yards swum in college and highschool, that will get me feeling good in the water for this weekend's swims? Additionally, I'm thinking of about a thousand to 1500 for a warmup each day. Thoughts?

Cool! I just swam my first meet after being out for 8 years. I had only been training for a month. I've been in the water 5 days a week doing 2500 - 3000 yards per workout plus weights 5 times a week. I will be cutting the weights down to 3 days now that my first meet is over. Looking at your screen name, I think we were in the same meet (New Orleans @ U.N.O.). If so, you were pretty damn good. I am training for Masters SCY Nationals. Hope to see you there.
