Hey everyone im new to this forum, and really excited to find it!. I just recently joining Gold's Gym in Syracuse to start (what i thought would be) just working out. But i realized that they had a decent 3 lane pool, and so i bought another jammer. Haha orignally a tiny size 28 6 years go, i was able to find myself a size 34 haha. I have started off doing 2000-2500 yeards in a aprox. 1 hour session about 5 times a week. Needless to say ive been doing great and losing some weight. My suit is now baggy on me, so time to buy a new one haha. I have been back into the swing of things for a month and a half. My workout tomorrow

looking to break the 2500 yard mark this week and continue this great sport again competing in masters and USS again. My career ended in Highschool unfortunately when i graduated because i wanted to do well in college. I would say i was a gifted swimmer in HS

Great to see that you're back in action! I am originally from the Syracuse area (well, not originally, but I grew up there). Hope you haven't had any of that lake effect snow yet!
Hey everyone, so a little update on myself these days....
Ive joined a swim club/team in the town im living in. I got the connection threw gold's gym. And on last Saturday i swam 6,000 yards!
In my last post i told you all that i bought a "new" jammer at a size 34, well i'm pleased to say i'm down to a size 30 now. Ive lost so much body fat it's amazing! ive gotten myself swimming Monday-Wednesday Friday and Saturday's every week. and atleast 3,00 meters at Gold's and I finish off the week with the big team/club practice. I even bought myself some fins and speedo paddles for extra strength
I have my first swim meet next weekend where im swmiming the 200 IM (idk why) haha , 50,100 freestyle, and 100 *** stroke.
My workout today looked like this and it is pretty much around this every day except saturdays.
400 free swim
10x200 free
1-4 Building@ 3:15
5-7 Pulling only @ 3:15
8-10 sprint @ 3:00
100 Long
8x50 Drill/sprint @1:00 (I.M. Order)
200 Warm down/drills
3100 meters
