I'm beyond bored swimming on my own. Even though I have started an adult (unofficial Master's) team at my local YMCA, there are MAX, 5 of us....and usually not all at once...Plus we only practice ONCE A WEEK, on Saturday mornings. It's kind of a joke!:rofl:
Where the heck do I live that I can't find a bunch of GOOD adult competitive swimmers to swim with...ones that want to do some serious workouts even during the week????????????

If any of you live in Delaware, Maryland or even PA, COME SWIM WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!:wiggle:

Too funny how they listen to you!!! You probably don't stick out like a sore thumb like I would at 37 years old!!!
Alison, you may not stick out like you think!
One of the national girls told me this summer, "My mom asked who the new girl @ practice was and I told her you were in your 20s . My mom said she couldn't believe it."
Oh and I do meets w/ the kids AND masters so I don't feel deprived in any area.
I have the option to swim with masters teams or the kids. I had heard that some masters swam with the kids so I thought, "Why not?" I feel that I have to give 100% with the kids just to set a good example.
Why not put differences aside (age is just a number) and try something new?
