What does “stroke” or “choice” mean for odd laps???

It depends on what the coach wants it to mean “The coach is always right” Usually 10x100 Odds/stroke Evens/free means that on the 1st, 3rd, 5th,7th and 9th 100’s (the odd numbered ones) you swim 100 fly, back, *** (sometimes a 100 IM is allowed) and on the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th 100’s (the even numbered ones) you swim free. When a coach says “choice” this could be one of the strokes or free.
