Hello everyone. I am a 39 yr female who would like to swim to get back in shape. Next year our local swimteam will be opening a masters class and I plan to join. I was wondering if there were any basic beginners work out I could do now till the masters class starts sometime in the new year. I was a lifeguard and swim instructor in my teens/20's so I am familiar with all the strokes. Just overweight and have no idea what to do when im swimming laps to start getting conditioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No love the encouragement, another reason Im joining a masters group 1. for guidance 2. motivation if I pay out to join will not wont not to go, then will also have team mates to encourage me on those days one would be tempted to say hmm ill skip today lol. I just need to get the lingo down so i know what it is they are telling me to do.
