I pulled a hamstring last year and recently "tweaked" it while swimming. I do the usually stretching beforehand and am wondering if what I wear might help. Right now I wear a jammer and am wondering if wearing leg tights might make a difference (more support to the leg as well as keeping the leg warmer).
Does anyone have any advice to offer? Am I completely wrong in thinking what I wear my help my condition?
Many thanks,
Robert
Hey, don't know if you've had many responses or if you're still looking. What were you doing when you "tweaked" your hamstring? You will probably find the best relief if you strengthen your lower back and other core muscles. Stretching is vital to this too so continue with that. -JB

In addition to the ecxellent advice to stretch and strengthen. The jammers or legskins will add some compression to your legs which should help support the areas.
I have been wearing legskin (tights) for a couple months now and it has made a significant difference. I don't even suffer toe cramps! The compression and the additional warmth the suits offer really make a difference.
For those who might want to try using legskins/tights but don't want to pay $100 for a pair, you might want to try the brand YINGFA from China. You can find them for $30 a pair. They are not quite TYR or Speedo quality, but good enough.
