hey everyone my name is jeff i am finally returning to the pool after a 10 year sabaticle. i am seeking any help on workout ideas that will get me started in competition again. i usually compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle and my best time in the 50 is 23.sec, with a personal best in 100 56.55. but that was 10 years ago so any help getting me back to the basics woould be greatly appreciated...thanks
Depending on how in shape you feel you are, maybe try some of the workouts posted in the discussion forums here before you try a practice --just to get used to the water again.
Swimming with a team again is way fun, but can be a reality check if you have not been in the water for a while...
Just have fun no matter what you choose!
