What is your favorite set 1200-2000?
Mine is 15x 100 - simple and sweet but a good measurement on how I am swimming.
I also like doing sets like 5x100, 2x250, and 1x 500

Under water kicks with zoomers is an absolute must for sprinters. You will increase your ankle strength and flexibility tremendously. Unfortunately, because I often feel a time crunch durring my workouts, I leave kicking out of the workout. I have to stop doing that! Thanks for the reminder!
I tried a variation of that on Sunday:
400 pull
4x100 on 1:25
300 pull
3x100 on 1:20
200 pull
2x100 on 1:15
100 pull
1x100 on 1:10
(all free, 2000 yards)
The set really flew by. The intervals can be modified and the set can be extended with a 500 pull/5x100 for another 1000. It started out as basic endurance and finished at anaerobic threshold or faster.
