Spring Nationals postponed to July 21 -25, 2021

Not sure how this will be possible given we are at less than 2% of the adult population. Will take a huge change in the current process. 8% have already received 1 dose. At current pace, 50% will have by July 4th. We are averaging 1.3M doses per day, but I believe we are expecting to have that rate increase. www.nytimes.com/.../covid-19-vaccine-doses.html

I asked this on another thread and got no answer yet. Is USMS going to move the cut off dates for Top Ten? This meet is more attractive to me as the last meet of the 2021 SCY season instead of the first meet of 2022.

I had not even thought of top 10 but ,yes that would be a topic for discussion. I want to be recovered from foot & shoulder surgery b4 I try this meet.

Pace has picked up. 50% now projected for June 30th. We're at over 1.5M doses per day.

Thanx for the info Rich. I would hope time is allowed for swimmers to move from the seating area to the blocks for each event so as to keep us apart. I am recovering from foot surgery and will take aim at Q times for S C Nationals in July

Well --- C D C now says " masks off for all that are fully vaccinated"  if the non vaxers tell the truth  and wear a mask ,I will be surprised.

 On a lighter note, does this mean we are closer to having S C Nats?
