Butterfly, beautiful to watch, difficult to train.
We SDK off every wall.
We're most likely to smack hands with each other and those beside us.
Fly's fun to sprint but no fun when the piano comes down

So it's seems that I've sort of fallen prey to the witchcraft that is fly. My goals for the season started out with getting certain times for the 100 free and the 200 IM. Starting out I didn't know how to swim fly at all so that was sort of the first step. Learned how, but my technique was/still is shoddy so I've been working on it. Recent breakthroughs in my fly have put it as my second best stroke, which is not saying much since I suck but still.
I find that I am actually enjoying it (it's become something of an obsession), and have contemplated adding some 100 fly focus to my winter break training since I get to make up all of my own workouts.
Anyone have any tips for me? I'm going to keep doing drills and focusing on my technique, but I'm looking for guidance on some easy sets to get me started.
Thanks!
I would recommend that you get one of the butterfly videos. I really like Richard Quick's Championship Butterfly.
