Butterfly, beautiful to watch, difficult to train.
We SDK off every wall.
We're most likely to smack hands with each other and those beside us.
Fly's fun to sprint but no fun when the piano comes down

Count your strokes!
This takes my mind off the pain on 100s and 200s, so I guess should work for 50m if you're used to 50yds. It can help prevent the sudden water churning if you know you should finish the length in say, 9 strokes you then know to stretch it out so you can make it, even though you are sprinting.
The small print: I am not a sprinter
You are right about this. I do count my strokes--9 up and 12 back, which, I believe is correct for my time 31sec SCM. I also count them as well as my sdk in practice.
