Hello everyone!
I am looking for some tips/tricks to prevent motion sickness in choppy waters during open water races.
During my last two races I took some dramamine a few hours before the race, but it didn't seem to help and I still threw up 3 times....
I have heard that Ginger extract and/or ear plugs might help. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

I get sea sick in both!
Salt water during a swim in Cancun (after throwing up, I still felt sea sick) and fresh water during a swim in Canada (water was colder like you mentioned).
I will take aspirin and ginger before the race and see how it goes!
