The folks at Pensacola Race Management said that they were going to put on a 25k swim to go along with their 5k and 10k. (www.3milebridgeswim.org) They've announced the date of their swim, and said that they were taking ideas and drawing up maps, but their website hasn't been updated since June. I know that the race is 8 months away or so, but I'm curious if anyone has heard anything. This is one of my big targets for next season.

I've had trouble getting answers from the race organization about anything. They aren't providing much, but they aren't charging for it if you've signed up for the 10k, if I remember correctly. If it weren't so close (I'm in Baton Rouge), I'd be more disappointed and hesitant about it.
