The folks at Pensacola Race Management said that they were going to put on a 25k swim to go along with their 5k and 10k. (www.3milebridgeswim.org) They've announced the date of their swim, and said that they were taking ideas and drawing up maps, but their website hasn't been updated since June. I know that the race is 8 months away or so, but I'm curious if anyone has heard anything. This is one of my big targets for next season.

25K presents both logsitics and safety issues - 5 lengths of this course would allow for feeding & water stations at as little as 1 to 1.5 miles
isn't the indiana 25K a lap-swim? 3 laps? 5 laps?
i don't enjoy lap swims but if i was determined to swim a 25K this would be a great opportunity
